Editorial Policy
PotatoOrNot content is written to help gamers diagnose real PC performance problems, not to publish generic filler.
Every indexable guide should answer a concrete problem: can this PC run a game, why FPS is low, why a game stutters, how to read requirements, what to upgrade first, or how to tune a low-end PC. We avoid pages whose only purpose is to target small keyword variations without adding value.
Our method is problem-first: symptoms, likely causes, free diagnostic tools, repeatable tests and fixes in the cheapest practical order. When upgrade paths are mentioned, the guide explains which measurement justifies the upgrade.
AI-assisted drafting may be used, but pages must meet human-use criteria: clarity, usefulness, accuracy, unique value and user experience. Content that is too short, duplicated or commercially thin should be noindexed or improved before monetization.
Standards
- Every article has a troubleshooting purpose.
- Indexable pages contain enough original guidance to stand alone.
- Pages include tests and tools, not only definitions.
- Legal, privacy and contact information remain easy to find.
